Leishman Efforts to get a 5-cent deposit on bottles failed last year (and in past years) due to a lack of public support. It is absolutely necessary for us to urge our local representatives to vote for a bottle deposit. This one is up to us. Please spread the word and gain support. If we can establish a strong grassroots effort, we can win. Prepare to contact your local representative about the bottle bill! A compromise with DES is close provided that certain safeguards (of the bill) are in place.
