Bird Photography on a Budget

March 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

free

You don’t need an armful of expensive photographic equipment to get good results when taking pictures of birds. Retired fisheries biologist and avid birder Ken Cox from Reading, VT will show how relatively inexpensive zoom cameras can be employed to capture high quality images.

Ken is an enthusiastic and skilled birder whose many avian exploits are chronicled in his on-line blog NorthernWings. His birding expeditions have taken him all around the United States, and he is an active citizen scientist undertaking projects for the US Geological Survey, the Vermont Center for Ecostudies and Audubon Vermont. Ken also is a member of the Vermont Bird Records Committee.

All Mascoma Chapter events are free and open to the public. Times and dates are subject to change. Visit our website at www.mascomabirds.org for up to date information.
