Winter Tree Identification

November 15 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

free

A Beaver Brook naturalist will explain how to identify New Hampshire tree species during the winter after leaves have fallen and conifers stand out. We’ll consider identifiers such as bark, bud arrangement, leaf scars, and more. Following this program, practice your new skills on a guided walk at Beaver Brook on Saturday, November 18, 10am-noon.

All programs are free and open to the public. Programs are held in the handicapped-accessible Theater Room of the Nashua Public Library on the THIRD WED of the month at 7pm. For more information, contact Program Coordinator: Richard Maloon 603-424-5621 or richard.maloon@att.net
