Falcon Chick Rescued from Piscataqua River

In June, a Peregrine falcon chick was rescued out of the Piscataqua River by boaters. High winds  appeared to have caused the chick to fall from its nesting site under the I-95 bridge in Portsmouth. New Hampshire Audubon, along with members of the Center for Wildlife of Cape Neddick in York, Maine, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation teamed up to treat the bird and return it safely to a spot near its nest location under the bridge.
