New Hampshire Birding
List Serve Information

NH.Birds
by Stephen R. Mirick

There's a service available on the internet for New Hampshire birders. NH.Birds was created as a forum to discuss birds and birding in New Hampshire, including recent sightings of rare and not-so-rare birds, conservation issues, upcoming field trips, or any other topic that may be of interest to birders in New Hampshire. NH.Birds was created with the assistance of David Blezard and the University of New Hampshire. It is an open mailing list, meaning that anyone can post messages to the list; however, if you wish to receive messages from the list, you must subscribe to it. The service started in October and has over 200 internet subscribers who are tuning in and sharing their experiences with other New Hampshire birders. Some examples of e-mails include:

Anyone who has access to e-mail or the internet can join, and, best of all, it's FREE! For more information on the service and to join, visit The NH.Birds Information Page or send an e-mail to: birdsetc@nhaudubon.org .
