The following images depict interesting events captured by the Osprey Cam. Click the thumbnails to see a larger picture. The summer of 1999 saw two chicks fledged from this nest. In the spring of 2000, the female returned and spent 3 weeks refurbishing the nest and waiting for the male to appear. She abandoned the nest when he did not appear. During the spring of 2001 the female returned briefly (see first row of images). Then, in late May, one of the chicks hatched in 1999 (green band with 'A1' inscribed) appeared at the nest and spent a couple of days refurbishing the nest (see second row of images). Although ospreys visited the nest in 2002 (row 3), no significant nesting activity was observed. The female osprey returns. The male osprey 'A1' returns. Other ospreys at the nest - 2002.
