The mission of Prescott Farm Audubon Center is to provide a living laboratory in the Lakes Region to inspire conservation action through exploration of the relationships between natural and managed environments.
Prescott Farm Audubon Center is a non-profit partnership between New Hampshire Audubon and the owners of the property, the Prescott Conservancy, Inc.The new Samuel P. Pardoe Education Building is now open and offers year round environmental education programs for adults, families, schools and children, including homeschool and preschool programs, and our very own WildQuest camps! The 160-acre historic family farm offers visitors more than three miles of woodland, pond and field trails for hiking, a three-story historic barn, beautiful Heritage and Heirloom flower and vegetable gardens, a working maple sugar shack, a geo-cache site, and great wildlife viewing opportunities!
Prescott Farm programs are designed to inspire conservation action through greater appreciation and understanding of the natural world. Our programs are primarily outdoor experiences and vary throughout the year. They include seasonal natural history hikes, birding programs, animal tracking, natural history hayrides, maple sugaring, questing, snowshoeing, farm ecology and orienteering. School and youth groups are welcome to visit the Farm for one of our naturalist-led field trips, which conform to the new N.H. Frameworks for Science Literacy. Here are program listings for this and other NHA Centers.
