McLane Center FAQ:

Yes, we work with you to create the layout you want and make sure it will fit in our space. We will also set up the room for you with the tables and chairs you need.

We have 60in round tables (12 total available) and 6 ft rectangle tables available. We have metal folding chairs that are gray and blue available. These chairs and tables may not go outside.

The high top tables are $10 each which will come with linen (white or ivory). We have a total of 5 available. We can rent more if you need more (though the cost is slightly more and they do not come with linens). We can also rent you floor length linens instead if you wish, for an additional fee.

If you require any tables or chairs to be located outside, you will need to rent them. Special Events of New England is our rental provider. If you are hosting a tented reception, you are required to work with them to get all of your rental items. If you are hosting an indoor reception with and outdoor ceremony, we will help coordinate the rental items with you.

You are not required to use vendors from our list; however, we do require approval of all vendors before you book them. Simply send up an email with the vendor name, contact, etc. and ask for approval.

Yes, there is a kitchen available for your caterers to use. Only caterers are allowed to cook in the kitchen.

Yes, you may use the coffee maker, and we can provide filters. We also have two airpots that you may use to store the coffee in. You will need to provide all other coffee items/fixings as well as clean them at the end of the night.

We have a Bluetooth speaker system available for indoor use only. This system comes with two handheld microphones. There is a charge associated with the use of this system.

Linens are not included in the rental fee. They can be rented from Special Events or any other vendor you prefer.

Yes, we will provide cans and liners as well as recycling containers. We will empty them throughout the night. Please be sure to recycle when possible!

If you have an outdoor ceremony and reception, your ceremony will take place under the tent in the case of rain.

If you have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, you are welcome to use the indoor space for the ceremony in the case of rain.

NH Audubon staff will be on site to open and close the building for you, make sure the building is operating correctly, and provide, take out, and replace trash and recycling barrels.

Our grounds are open to the public, but NH Audubon Staff will be on site to direct public away from your reserved area. In our experience, most people take off running in the opposite direction if they suspect they are even close to where a wedding is happening.
