New! Scientist Series at Massabesic Center

(Kimmie Whiteman)

We are thrilled to announce a series of ten engaging presentations with NH Audubon’s Conservation Scientists taking place at the Massabesic Center in Auburn in 2023. Our Conservation Team holds over 140 collective years of on-the-ground research, studying New Hampshire’s birds and ecosystems. The data they have captured during this time has led to significant contributions to the protection of NH’s environment.

Pine Grosbeak (Becky Suomala)

We welcome you to join our Senior Biologists to hear about research and conservation efforts on a variety of topics ranging from raptor recovery success stories to Nighthawk conservation efforts, and revolutions in migration research technology to deeper understandings of climate impacts. In each of our upcoming talks, you’ll learn how you can engage with conservation efforts on an individual level to contribute to species preservation.

These dynamic lectures will primarily take place in-person at the Massabesic Center, with two virtual experiences available via Zoom. We’re excited to share our stories of field research, successes, sorrows, and hope for the future with all of you. We can’t wait to see you for one, or all of our discussions this year!
