Save the Date: Earth Day Celebration 2024

This year, NH Audubon celebrates Earth Day at the Massabesic Center in Auburn with a special display and presentation by The Caterpillar Lab, located in Marlborough. Join us on Saturday, April 20 for a full day of Planet vs. Plastic family-friendly fun! We’ll start the day with an Early Morning Bird Search, then learn about recycling, how to support wildlife through gardening, improve your photography techniques and discover how to photograph wildlife safely, and build a Carolina Wren nest box. Stay for the afternoon and see our Ambassador Red-tailed Hawk, learn about the lifecycle of how caterpillars survive to become moths and butterflies, and end the day with our Afternoon Nature Hike.

  • Where: NH Audubon Massabesic Center in Auburn
  • When: April 20 at 10am-3pm
  • Cost: $10 for a family of 4 (members), $15 for a family of 4 (non-members). The first 100 registered families will receive a nest box kit. Pre-registration is highly recommended, but we can accept walk-up registration if the event is not filled to capacity.

Visit the Calendar Event listing to view the full schedule and register.
