The Twitchers Return

Each January the “Twitchers” take part in an annual competition called the Superbowl of Birding. After a break in 2023 when team captain Becky Suomala was counting in Antarctica, the Twitchers will be back in New Hampshire competing for the Townie Award (the most species in one town). The competition will take place on January 27, 2024. It will still involve looking for as many species as possible in 12 hours in Essex County, MA and/or Rockingham County, NH.

The Team will be waiting until late January to figure out which New Hampshire town they will choose. Support the Team with a pledge! All monies go to support New Hampshire Bird Records and NHeBird. For more information or to support the team, click here.
