Seasonal Job Opportunities

New Hampshire Audubon is hiring for a variety of seasonal positions.

  • Paradise Point Lead Naturalist: NH Audubon is looking for a full-time seasonal Lead Naturalist to further our mission at Paradise Point Nature Center. Based in the beautiful Newfound Lake region, this position carries out the various functions of the Center including marketing and delivering educational programs, assisting in running our boat rental program, co-leading a summer speaker series, basic trail maintenance at area wildlife sanctuaries, and more! This position is great resumé-building experience for rising juniors, seniors, or recent college graduates studying adventure education, environmental education, conservation, biology, natural history, or related field. Hands-on training for all operation-related responsibilities is provided.
  • Assistant Camp Director: NH Audubon is looking for a full-time seasonal Assistant Camp Director to further our mission at the McLane Center in Concord. Utilizing the Silk Farm Wildlife Sanctuary and resources of the McLane Center, the Assistant Camp Director plays a critical role in assisting with the operation and program coordination of our day camp through planning and conducting daily nature camp games and activities, training and managing camp staff, and supervising campers during extended care programs. This is a great opportunity for rising juniors, seniors, or recent college graduates studying elementary, environmental, or outdoor education, biology, natural history, or a related field to develop skills and experience in operating quality nature camp programming. Experience with hands-on training in leading inquiry-based, nature camp programming, providing effective child management, and teaching in an outdoor setting is provided.
  • Camp Educators: NH Audubon is looking for full-time seasonal Camp Educators to further our mission at the McLane and Massabesic centers this summer. Based at our two year-round centers and adjacent wildlife sanctuaries, Camp Educators play a crucial role in planning, conducting, and supervising quality daily nature camp programming through games, hikes, and other hands-on activities for our campers. This is a great opportunity for new or up-and-coming environmental educators to develop skills and experience in inquiry-based, nature camp programming, effective child behavior management, and teaching in an outdoor setting. Hands-on training in implementing these job responsibilities is provided prior to and throughout the camp season.
