Massabesic Center’s Fall Native Plant Sale is back September 10

Pick your favorite new perennials up at the Fall Native Plant Sale. The sale takes place on September 10 from 12-4 pm at NH Audubon’s Massabesic Center in Auburn. Bagley Pond Perennials will be there offering a wide selection of native plants and shrubs for purchase. Native plants and shrubs help sustain our native pollinators and wildlife – plant some in your space this fall! Bagley Pond is graciously donating a portion of their proceeds to NH Audubon, further supporting our mission of protecting NH’s environment for wildlife and for people.

While you’re there, tour the center’s gardens, chat with NH Audubon Staff and UNH Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners for answers to your gardening and native wildlife questions. A gardening workshop called “Extending the Gardening Season” takes place from 1-3 pm. The workshop will cover what produce grows best in the fall, how to protect your crops from frosts and freezes, and how overwintering certain crops can prolong your growing season. Registration for the workshop is required by September 7.
